    If you dream that a friend or family member, able-bodied in your waking life, is using a wheelchair, this should be seen as a call to action. They are in desperate need of your help but cannot bring themselves to ask you outright. Instead your subconscious mind has picked up on subtle hints. Seek them out and offer your friendship and your help.   I should provide a little background. We have been dating since the early fall semester, and I have never felt so completely happy in my life. I met him in a coffee house on campus. I play tennis and a friend of mine asked me to meet at the coffee house to study after the team finished working out. When we arrived all the tables were filled. That is when I first saw him. My friend . I have a manual wheelchair I take with me if I’m traveling and know the scooter is going to face obstacles. It does have handle bars because I don’t have enough strength in my arms to push.   Case in point: My friend’s 5-year-old. His dad and I have been friends for over 15 years now, so he only knows me as a person in a wheelchair.

Millions of people live with disabilities, but the lives of disabled people have not significantly improved - they often undergo a kind of social death long before experiencing a physical one. This manual for friends of those with disabilities offers information, help and reassurance.
